Sheng Hung Industrial was established in 1957 and has experienced rapid growth over the past 60 years while abiding by our management philosophies: "Novelty, superiority, profits, and sharing."

  • Mr. Mu-sheng Chen founded Sheng Hung Chemical Corp

1969
  • Imported nonwoven fabric technology and equipment from West Germany , becoming the first company in Taiwan to manufacture nonwoven linings.

  • Company name changed to Sheng Hung Industrial Co., Ltd. and moved toward diversified operations.

  • Expansion of the factory and equipment. The 70,000 square meter factory in Taoyuan formally commissioned for use.

1976
  • Imported synthetic leather manufacturing technology from West Germany. Created a new manufacturing department for synthetic leather.

1979
  • Technical cooperation with Japan to develop multi-applications for nonwoven products. Established a new manufacturing division specializing in wet-process polyurethane synthetic leather.
1985
  • Imported the latest facilities from West Germany to manufacture dot fusing nonwoven interlining for garment use.

1990
  • Imported warm-air nonwoven equipment compliant with global environmental standards to produce formalin-free nonwoven fabrics.
1994
  • Imported the most advanced water-entanglement spunlace equipment from France.

  • Kunshan Sheng Yu Non-Wovens Co., Ltd. opened in Shanghai. Received ISO-9002 certification in the same year.

  • Increased production equipment for water-entanglement spunlace.
1999
  • Developed and mass produced water-soluble nonwoven.
2000
  • Obtained ISO-14001 environmental certification.


2001
  • Assigned a Southern China representative in Guang Dong.
2004
  • Invented the patented P-tex for printing purposes. Introduced nonwoven materials into the art industry.

2007
  • Sheng Hung Company has been establishing for 50 years. On the 50th anniversary, Awarded The Prize of Long Established Excellent Enterprise.

2011
  • Obtained Taiwan Products Golden Award.


2015
  • SGS "ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificate".


2016
  • Launched new SHI Corporate Identity System.

    Established SHENG YANG INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD in September 2016.
2018
  • Announced Sheng Hung P-Tex Product won 26th Taiwan Excellence Award.

2019
  • Won the “ Water Conservation and Improvement Award-Special Excellence Award of Industrial Division” from the Water Resources Agency, MOEA.

    Completed new factory building and setup Spunlace Nonwoven machine.
2020
  • Awarded the “Anti-epidemic National Team” medal.

    Passed the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) verification.
